Wow. Wait, let me rephrase that: WOW! The admin section of WordPress MU is amazing both in how it looks and functions. Back on the other moonbug I’m using the Tiger-admin plugin to spare my eyes of the, shall we say, less than perfect default interface. I don’t know what version of WP wordpress.com is running but it’s definitely a huge improvement. And full of — please don’t shoot me — Ajaxy goodness™. Plus: a built in stats page!
The “rich editor” doesn’t quite work for me with Safari, my browser of choice, but I have no real need for it anyway. The only tiny caveat is the amount of webspace you have to upload stuff: 25Mb. Fine and dandy for most I suppose, but it does mean I won’t be featuring my drawings here; those will remain on moonbug.org.

Know what the only thing is that bugs me? One can’t really edit the appearance of the site. http://www.twoday.net lets you edit EVERYTHING in your template. So I wonder whether I will switch for good or devote my new blog on WP for something different …

Yeah, you’re stuck with what templates they provide as far as I can tell… Another thing is I can’t seem to be able to – get this – make a href links in the “write” textarea! Not even when I switch to the not-so-cutting-edge set-up. Both in Firefox and Safari, links just don’t show up. Weird…

Weird. I use Firefox on Mac and the link just appeared in my comment by writing http://www.moonbug.org.
As for posting it works both ways in my case. Using the WYSYWIG editor or HTML editing. So linking is not the problem in my case. Content is harder to get to …

Real unstable system, that. I did my first post today and since then I can’t seem to edit anything anymore. It just keeps loading and loading and loading forever. Urm. Anyway … I am curious what the Moonbugger will come with around here …

You can’t edit, I can’t put in links! This is fun isn’t it? To be fair, this whole wordpress.com thing is still in beta apparently; I’ve read they’re constantly messing with the code on a daily basis. Perhaps send it to the powers that be as a bug-report? As for the Moonbugger, he ain’t quite got a clue yet…
